Warcraft – Horde logo on the wedding inv.

Are we sure that one with the keyboard is actually a girl? Kinda hard to tell.

Ok so I had to do some serious googling but it’s the symbol for the horde in World of Warcraft. I didn’t know it either. I’ve never played the game. I’m sure we’ll both catch hours of flack now for not having every World of Warcraft symbol memorized.

The designs on the bottom are horde symbols from World of Warcraft.

I’m with Malisyn, I think #3 is a dude. That red case in the background makes the keytar look like an accordion, though, so thumbs up.

The three symbols at the bottom of the wedding invitation are warcraft horde symbols, if you mouse over the image it says FOR THE HORDE!!!

I feel your pain. I played for just over a year, had a level 80 disc priest in all heroic epics in one of the top guilds on the realm and my wife forced me to sell off my account (only ended up getting $150 USD because I wanted to get rid of it).

Apparently working a full time job, having kids and putting in 45+ hours a week on WoW is “excessive”.

I still get so tempted to load it up and start again but I know once I start I will keep going and going.

I’m am proud to say that I haven’t the slightest idea what an 80 disc priest is (I’m assuming from the context that it is has something to do with WoW, but wait, don’t tell me — I don’t really care).

Oo, disc priests are the best. I had an 80 death knight and a 73 warrior when i quit. Never did raids or anything much for gear tho…. I would have gone insane. X3 When I quit, I just gave all my gold and unbound items to the guild I was co-running.

hm, i already understood that the symbols in the last pic were of the horde, but i wonder. why would you want those symbols down there? i mean, what has this wedding to do with the Horde? hm, i guess they both play WoW and wanted to have this symbol as a finishing touch, or show that they are playing WoW.
But still, why would you want that symbol, there are way better symbols for a wedding.

Not sure why you’re such a hostile person (besides the anonymity of the internets). I don’t play WoW because I think it’s a waste of money, but I don’t go around insulting people who do. I’ve never even played the game, but I gathered from the alt text mentioning “the horde” that it was a WoW reference.

Maybe you’re the one that needs to get a life outside of insulting people over the Internet?

Anna Rexia, I’m very much on your side, here. I don’t see why anybody would think you’re the one being hostile. The person you’re insulting deserves it and has a chance to respond. Nor do I suppose for a second that your intention was to insult all WoW players. I know and respect a few gamers, but I too get the impression that Vexille is a pathetic, basement-dwelling twit with no life of his own.

So a little back story on the wedding invite picture. Its of my invite. Done by my wife. We both play WoW and so does my family. It brings us all together, even when we are scattered across the country (and globe as my little brother was in the army.) The symbols where scattered across our wedding, both on the cake and wine glasses to name some. The little things that others may not get but meant something to us. Our own inside joke, (minus the fact a few of our guests where players also.) Thank you all for positive feed back and … FOR THE HORDE!

A wedding is personal.

Some people get married by guys (or ladies) dressed like Elvis. Some people get married outside. Some people get married in garbage trucks, or at the mall, or at Disney World… Some people aren’t allowed to get married.

There might be better symbols for a wedding for YOU – this is just what worked for them.

When I first read it I laughed because that’s really close to my house, and I realized that can’t be why it’s funny, then i saw the emblems.
