OK, I’m sorry, but the nerd has to come out. She wouldn’t get electrocuted if the guitar was plugged in, providing the amp didn’t get wet. An electric guitar doesn’t get power from the amp, it generates electricity in the pickup. The amp then amplifies (duh) the signal created by the guitar. Unless there is something wrong with the amp, no electricity comes from the amp into the guitar. It all goes the other way.

Well, it’s not plugged in, so she’s in no danger. As far as damage to the guitar goes, it’s probably her own; I don’t know anybody inconsiderate enough to do that with something that belongs to someone else (at least without asking). I have an old guitar I wouldn’t mind getting soapy for a wetriffs.com submission. xkcd fans are pretty devoted, and have a habit of acting out the comics. For example http://xkcd.com/chesscoaster/ many of them go far enough to act out specific body language shown in the comic (notice how most of them are touching their chin).
