Vigilante Justice of the Day: Apparently, the bushes at Tylers Common, a park in England, are a popular meeting place for groups of men to come and have “mini orgies.”
The parents who bring their children to the common have decided to take matters into their own hands, and have come up with a new deterrent for such activities.
The Telegraph is reporting that one mother suggested that they take pictures and videos of the people who use the common for salacious purposes, and post them to Facebook or Youtube.
The whole idea is to shame the participants and have the photos and videos act as a deterrent.
Other residents have voiced their support for the idea.
Andrew Curtin, a government official, stated:
The area remains a high priority for us and is regularly patrolled by our Parks Protection Team and the police.
It seems that the patrols aren’t enough though, as one resident complained:
It’s the same night after night and day after day…Local people are seeing groups of two or three men leaving the car park, usually in the afternoon, and going into the bushes there…At first when the patrols started there was less of it happening but it does seem to have got worse again.
While the can-do attitude of these fed-up parents should be commended, the fear of photo or video evidence probably won’t act as much of deterrent.
When you consider that these people are already having sex in the bushes of a public park that is filled with children, fear of discovery doesn’t seem to be too big of concern for them.
