Dance Moves of the Day

Nov. 29, 2011

Dance Moves of the Day: The latest promo for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, there’s now a video of the Angels lip-syncing to Maroon 5′s “Moves Like Jagger.”

One of the girls featured is Anne V, who is dating Maroon 5′s lead singer, Adam Levine. Since Maroon 5 also performed at the fashion show, I think it’s safe to assume that this song was heard at some point.

The other models shown in the video are Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, and Miranda Kerr.

None of them are particularly good at impersonating Mick Jagger, but this video is a compilation of incredibly hot models gyrating, so complaining about their inability to mimic a 68-year-old man is kind of ridiculous.

Follow Up of the Day: Lynx “Apologizes”

Nov. 28, 2011

Follow Up of the Day: Lynx has released a video of Lucy Pinder apologizing for offending anyone by appearing in the company’s recently banned ads.

Pinder is shown covered in a very baggy sweater and looking sad while returning props, such as pompoms and a stuffed monkey, that were used for Lynx commercials.

I believe the word British folks would use to describe this apology is “cheeky.”

New Year’s Resolutions of the Day

Nov. 22, 2011

New Year’s Resolutions of the Day: New Year’s Eve is a time for empty promises that we all make to ourselves, and the Victoria’s Secret angels are honoring that tradition.

Here’s a video Adriana Lima and company talking about their resolutions, and then all of a sudden switching topics to what panties they’re going to wear on New Year’s Eve, which is infinitely more interesting.

The angels also made a promotional appearance in New York City yesterday, reminding everyone to buy their holiday lingerie, and watch the Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

Singing For Skin of the Day

Nov. 22, 2011

Singing For Skin of the Day: Mariana Diarco became famous in Argentina for having an affair with a rock star, and is now being featured in the latest issue of Playboy Argentina.

To help promote the issue, Playboy set up a website that allowed people to reveal a photo of Diarco in some stage of undress by singing.

The point of the site is to make you feel like Diarco is a groupie, and you are a super talented singer. Honestly, this just seems like a lot of work for a product that is already pretty easy to come by without having to showcase my terrible singing voice.

Pics from Diarco’s spread after the jump.

NFL Promo of the Day

Nov. 16, 2011

NFL Promo of the Day: Marisa Miller did a photo shoot for the NFL in order to help promote the International Series game.

They also made a behind the scenes video of the shoot.

Miller talks about her love for the San Francisco 49ers a lot, which can be annoying for anyone who isn’t a 49ers fan.

It’s pretty easy to forgive her though, since she’s doing model things in and around football equipment, which is a combination of two wonderful things.

Soaking Wet of the Day

Nov. 14, 2011

Soaking Wet of the Day: Kimberley Walsh did some posing for Puma recently that apparently necessitated somebody throwing buckets of water on her.

You have to give Puma credit. Dumping water on an attractive woman while the shoes just kind of hang across her shoulders is a pretty innovative way to sell footwear.

I’m not sure if it will work, but they certainly have my attention.

Megan Fox Wears Make-Up of the Day

Nov. 12, 2011

Megan Fox Wears Make-Up of the Day: Megan Fox’s new ad for the Giorgio Armani make-up line features the glamorous actress checking out her make-up in front of a mirror.

Sounds pretty basic, but Fox is doing her best impression of Elizabeth Taylor in the spot while barely wearing a strapless top and toying with a necklace.

I don’t care what she’s selling, I’ll take ten.

Striptease of the Day

Nov. 11, 2011

Striptease of the Day: Jessica Lowndes released a music video for her single “I Wish I Was Gay,” and to be totally honest, I don’t believe her.

There’s a real disconnect between the lines, “I don’t get guys/I wish I was gay,” and the entire video, which features Lowndes doing a striptease in a corset. It seems like she gets it. Guys like boobs and strippers.

I wouldn’t want to discourage Lowndes from experimenting, though. She can do what she wants. I just request that she film her exploits for, um, research purposes.

Also, the song was a lot better than I expected. Just sayin’.

X-Ray of the Day

Nov. 11, 2011

X-Ray of the Day: Moosejaw, an outerwear retailer, has released an app for the iPhone, iPad, and Android devices that allows the user to see through the clothing in their winter catalog.

The app is called MoosejawXRAY, and it’s a pretty clever idea, since the worst part of winter is the fact that everyone bundles up, and you don’t get to see any skin while you’re out and about until warmer weather rolls around.

Now you can look for some sweaters, and then take a quick look at a model in her underwear. It’s a true win-win situation.

Political Ad of the Day

Nov. 10, 2011

Political Ad of the Day: With Parliamentary elections coming up next month in Russia, Putin’s United Russia party has released a new advertisement in an effort to try to get people out and voting.

The ad features two people who seem to have a little more than politics on the mind, since they decide to get it on in a booth. The scene couldn’t remind me less of my experience voting earlier in the week.

One parliament member is taking issue with the ad, not because of the sexual content, but because having two voters in one booth violates Russia’s constitution.

Way to miss the point there, champ.
